The child was playing with a ball with his other child family members and friends. The ball went into the retention pond. The kid then went in the retention pond and drowned.
The other kids went inside to tell adults. 911 was called. Emergency divers came to the scene and pulled the child victim from the water. The child was dead. Water search and rescues have yielded many dead bodies.
