A shootout took place at Charlotte Burger King during fight
Destini Crump, 21, was arrested on May 3, 2026 accused of shooting a gun off during a fight at the Burger King located at 8431 North Tryon Street Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
A fight occurred between women in the parking lot of the Burger King in September 2025. Men were there too, and eventually jumped in the fight. Hair weave was pulled out and used as evidence by police.
A female suspect was seen firing shots at another female during the physical altercation. One of the bullets shot through a bag of food while being held by a customer.
The crowd left the scene in vehicles after the shooting. Cops were called and used hair weave to help identify suspects.
Bullet casings were found, cops later received an IBIS hit for the bullet casing which led to the identification of one of the males in the altercation.
Destini was later identified as a suspect after cops, likely illegally did a dump on her phone and looked at pictures and messages.
Several months after the shooting. Destini was arrested charged with going armed to terror of people and discharge gun.
