The victim came back home from the casino and was jacked of all his cash winnings, suspect arrested
Savon Poe, 25, is accused of robbing a man after the victim got home from a casino with a large cash win on May 4, 2026. The robbery was in Charlotte, NC at apartments off of Wilkinson Blvd. The male victim had won $6,500 at the casino. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

The victim went to a casino in Kings Mountain, NC and won big. The victim drove home and arrived to his apartment in Charlotte on the same night.
3 men found out that he won the cash some type of way and approached him in the apartment complex parking lot with guns robbing him.
The suspects hit the victim multiple times with guns. The suspects went through the victim’s pockets and took his casino winnings of $6,500 in cash.
The suspects also took the victim’s Apple Iphone and wallet. The suspects got greedy and forced the man into his apartment unit to steal even more. See more home invasions here.
The Ring camera caught the incident on camera. The victim had a bloody face and bruises from the robbery assault.
The suspects held a gun to the man’s head forcing him to open his apartment door. The suspects pushed the man on the floor. The third suspect went to the man’s bedroom where his girlfriend was sleeping.
The girlfriend heard the commotion and grabbed a gun on the bed. The suspect saw the woman with a gun and fired a shot at her, but missing. The suspects fled at the sound of the gun.
Cops pinged the location of the victim’s cell phone which identified it on Rozzelles Ferry Rd. The IPhone’s location then moved to West Sugar Creek Rd.
Cops spotted the suspect vehicle and a chase began. Savon was the alleged driver. The public was in danger during this chase, and cops should of called it off due to innocent people getting killed potentially. But it takes lawsuits for police departments to realize that chases are too dangerous to administer.

The suspect vehicle stopped near apartments and 2 suspects ran out. The vehicle then accelerated away, all the way to Huntersville, NC.
The vehicle later ran out of gas. Savon was arrested charged with robbery, conspiracy, kidnapping, firing shots, and flee arrest.
