A ten month old baby was murdered in a violent stabbing, the mom is accused of murdering the baby
Ciara Frederick, 34, was arrested on March 26, 2026 accused of murdering her 10-month old baby Enoch Chappell in Buncombe County, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Ciara had episodes of post partum depression after recently giving birth to Enoch. Ciara was at home with the baby when she is accused of stabbing Enoch multiple times with a knife.
Deputies were called along with EMS to a house on Rocala Drive at 2 p.m. Officials saw baby Enoch bleeding profusely and unconscious. The baby had multiple stab wounds.
Enoch was rushed to Mission Hospital where he was declared dead. Ciara was arrested accused of murder, first degree and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
