Victim burned alive in car fire in Charlotte on Easter holiday weekend
On April 4, 2026 one person was killed in a car fire on Yorkmont Road Charlotte, NC in the heart of the Easter holiday weekend.

At 3:30 a.m. a crash took place likely involving just one vehicle. The car caught fire due to the impact of the crash.

The driver was trapped inside and was scorched by the hot flames, burned alive. The driver died in the car from the fire. The deadly smoke inhalation also killed the driver.
