Mother Brionce Parks, 26, is now in jail after her baby daughter 1-year-old Kamelah Michilena was killed one day after Christmas on December 26, 2025 after eating crack cocaine and fentanyl. Baby Kamelah thought it was candy. The baby died at a cheap motel on Queen City Dr. Charlotte, NC. Brionce was addicted to crack cocaine really bad, otherwise known as a crack head. Kamelah was in the motel room with her mom Brionce. At 1:23 a.m. Kamelah ate the crack cocaine and fentanyl likely while Brionce was getting high off of her own supply of drugs. Click here to see the many times drugs have been found in a baby’s system.
Baby Kamelah went in to cardiac arrest and stopped breathing. Someone called paramedics, but Kamelah died. Child abuse cases in the United States are grim.
Brionce was later arrested on December 26th charged with felony child abuse and exposing a child to a controlled substance.
