Tony Smith, 58, was murdered on March 16, 2024 while walking on Brookshire Boulevard Charlotte, NC .
At 3:30 a.m., Tony was purposefully hit and ran over by a vehicle. The vehicle then drove off.
Officers responded to the scene and saw Tony with life threatening injuries. Paramedics took Tony to the hospital, where he later died. Evidence shows that the victim was intentionally hit by the vehicle, thus making this a homicide investigation.
