On January 11, 2026 a victim was killed in a motorcycle crash on I-485 in Charlotte, NC.
Paramedics responded to the crash on I-485 near mile marker 27 in the late afternoon. A motorcycle was found mangled on scene. The victim died on site. An investigation in underway to determine what caused the crash. Fatal motorcycle crashes have been a grave concern over the last few years in Charlotte.
