More and more Chick-fil-a employees are getting arrested for sex crimes. Is my pleasure said during the process?
Lafe Thompson, 58, is a Chick-fil-a franchise owner in Lancaster, SC, he pleaded guilty to a sex act with a minor on Jan. 5, 2026. The victim was a 14-year-old boy. Chick-fil-a has made the news often for the wrong reasons.
The 14-year-old boy met Lafe on an adult only dating website where the victim claimed to be over 18.
In January 2024 Lafe went to the boy’s house to engage in sexual activity. Lafe was in the midst of sexual activity with the boy when the teens parent’s walked in. Lafe ran from the house.
Lafe was arrested soon afterwards. Lafe quit his Chick-fil-A job after his arrest. 2 years later in January 2026 a plea deal was reached with prosecutors for 4 years of probation and no prison time, along with a permanent restraining order of no contact with the victim.
