Traffic delays are heavy as a vehicle is trapped under heavy duty truck on I-485
On December 15, 2025 a bad wreck occurred on I-485 in Charlotte, NC involving a vehicle trapped under an 18-wheeler truck.
The crash was around 11 a.m. when a collision occurred with a vehicle and an 18-wheeler truck near the Harrisburg Rd exit.
The crash led to the vehicle going underneath the truck full submersion style. The victim is still being extricated from the vehicle. It is not known if any deaths occurred or what led to the crash.
