These guys were planning to eat like kings in prison, thanks to a drone dropping in steaks and crabs
A drone was used to drop steaks and crab into the Lee Correctional Institution in South Carolina on December 8, 2025.
Suspects used a drone to drop steaks, crab legs, Old Bay seasoning, marijuana, and cigarettes to inmates at the jail. A guard saw the drone and intercepted the products.
It is believed the drone was able to fly away. It is not known what inmates were meant to receive the food and merchandise.
In 2018 seven inmates were killed and 17 others were injured at the Lee Correctional Institution during a violent riot.
