It has been a very violent 24 hours for Charlotte, NC because 3 people were killed. The latest killing involved a homicide on Kilborne Drive. On May 12, 2024 just before 5:00 a.m., officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon 911 call on Kilborne Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim with a gunshot wound.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
A male victim was murdered just hours earlier on Remount Road at a gas station, he was shot 7 times.
Around midnight on May 12th a victim was killed on Eastway Dr. in a vehicle collision.
