Several teenagers were able to escape police during a high speed chase of a stolen Kia SUV on July 17, 2024 in Bratenahl, Ohio.
Cops were alerted about a stolen Kia. Officers found the Kia and attempted to make a traffic stop, but the driver refused to stop.
A chase began, and went through a construction zone. The Kia lost control and ran into an innocent motorist.
The Kia then began to smoke and malfunction. 3 suspects get out via the driver’s window and run from the police on foot.
A 14-year-old male remained on scene and tried to hide behind the Kia from the police. An officer spotted the suspect and arrested him.
The other 3 suspects were not caught.
