Christopher Franks, 22, pled guilty to second degree murder on January 24, 2025. Christopher murdered 19-year-old Jkarri Anderson at a Wendy’s restaurant on WT Harris Blvd. Charlotte, NC. Both of the men were employees at the Wendy’s. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

On October 6, 2023 Jkarri and Christopher were in a physical altercation inside the restaurant. The scuffle led to the Wendy’s parking lot where Christopher shot Jkarri dead.
Jkarri’s mother was in prison at the time of his death, and prison officials did not allow her to get out to see her own son’s funeral.
