Martecius Taylor, 31, pled guilty to the double homicide of Isiah Jeremiah Doctor-Muhammad, 22, and 27-year-old Lee’Vantay Rankin that occurred in Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
On March 15, 2021 Lee’vantay and Isaiah were killed in a triple shooting on Kings Ridge Drive Charlotte, NC. A shooting transpired at apartments in the area and 3 men were shot.
Isaiah died on the scene. Lee’vantay was rushed to the hospital where he died from his gunshots.
A third man was also shot and taken to the hospital, but he survived. Marteicus was arrested several months later and charged with 2 counts of first degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle, assault with a deadly weapon intent to kill inflicting serious injury, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
At his 2025 trial, Marteicus pled guilty to two counts of second degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. A judge sentenced him to 207-261 months in prison.
