2 ACCUSED OF KILLING MAN IN I-85 FATAL CRASH

Khai Reaves, 21, and Dashawn Powell, 27, were arrested on March 7, 2025 accused of killing Collins Sullivan, 27, in a multi car collision on Interstate 85 in Charlotte, NC. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram.

Collins was killed on February 8, 2025 when the crash occurred. At 3:30 a.m. Collins and the suspects were in vehicles. 

There were several vehicles involved in the crash. At some point a collision occurred, causing some vehicles to flip upside down at high speeds. 

Sadly, Collins died on scene. Some vehicles even caught fire. Khai and Dashawn along with other people were injured in the crash and taken to the hospital. 

The fatal collision was near exit 40 close to Graham St. Nearly a month later Khai and Dashawn were released from the hospital, they were then arrested charged with death by vehicle and aggressive driving.
