Jose Antonio Mejia Gaona, 25, was found dead behind a Captain D’s restaurant after a violent murder on October 14, 2024 in Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Jose was shot and killed behind the Captain D’s on North Sharon Amity Road. At 7 a.m. someone saw a dead body by a dumpster.
The witness called 911 and left. Officers responded to the scene to check it out. Police then saw Jose’s dead body riddled with bullets.
