On October 16, 2024 Ever Elizand Castillo Guardado, 22, was killed in a head on collision with a tree on Archdale Drive Charlotte, NC. We are on Instagram now.
At 2:50 a.m., Mr. Guardado was in a Toyota Tacoma truck, another person was driving. The truck veered off the road and struck a tree head on.
Passerbys saw the crash and called 911. Authorities arrived and took Mr. Guardado and the driver to Atrium Health Hospital main via ambulance.
Shortly after arrival, Mr. Guardado was pronounced deceased. The driver of the Toyota is currently listed in critical condition.Speed and alcohol impairment are suspected to be contributing factors of this crash. Both occupants of the Toyota were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
Detectives are actively working to identify the driver of the Toyota.
