A Brinks armored truck was stolen on April 15, 2024 at the Quik Trip gas station on North Tryon St. Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The Brinks truck was at the Quik Trip picking up cash around 2 p.m. Several suspects then entered the truck while the guard was in the Quik Trip, the suspects took off in the truck. Click here to see video of a Brinks armored guard being robbed at gunpoint and his pants taken off by the suspect.
The guard then came back to the armored truck and found it missing. Police were called. In 2023 a Brinks armored truck was robbed in Charlotte at a Fifth Third Bank.
The Brinks truck was found abandoned near a wooded area with millions of dollars missing.
The suspects stole the cash. Police and the FBI are investigating.
