24-year-old Natalia Harrell is charged with the murder of 28-year-old Gladys Borcela that occurred on July 23, 2022 in Miami, Florida. The 2 women were fighting in an Uber ride when Gladys was shot and killed. Gladys was a mother with 3 kids.
Natalia, Gladys, and five other people boarded a 2020 Cadillac Escalade Uber ride around 2:15 a.m. after a night of partying and alcoholic beverages on July 23rd in downtown Miami.
Once the group of friends entered the Uber ride, a verbal argument began between Natalia and Gladys. The dispute quickly turned physical and the girls began fighting inside the SUV.
Natalia is accused of reaching in her purse and shooting Gladys dead. The Uber driver immediately stopped the SUV and the occupants ran out.
911 was called and paramedics found Gladys dead in the SUV with her blood staining the seats and ceiling.
Natalia was arrested a few hours later and charged with 2nd degree murder.
