On July 22, 2022 Christopher Williams, 35, murdered his wife, Terrica Williams, 36, at the Liberty Square Shopping Center in Hinesville, Georgia. Christopher was a Sargent 1st Class in the United States Army.
The time was around 1:30 p.m. Terrica pulled into the parking lot of the Liberty Square Shopping Center in a vehicle. Her husband Christopher was following her and chasing her.
Terrica ran into one of the stores in the mall, Christopher ran behind her and shot her in the back of a business. Terrica died on the scene. Christopher then shot and killed himself.
Police responded to the shots fired call and the mall was placed on lock down. Police secured the entire mall and found Terrica and Christopher shot dead inside of a business in the rear area.
Christopher served 15 years in the army and was active duty. He was deployed five times, including one combat deployment to Iraq.
