WOMAN MURDERED DURING TRIPLE SHOOTING AT APARTMENT COMPLEX

21-year-old Yara Velasquez-Escobar was killed on January 27, 2024 after being shot in a triple shooting that occurred on Lake Mist Drive Charlotte, NC.

The actual shooting was on January 25, 2024. Yara, a 19-year-old man, and a 15-year-old girl were shot at 10:30 p.m. in the parking lot of an apartment complex.

The 3 people shot were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

However, on January 27, 2024 Yara died at the hospital from the shooting. The two other victims survived.
