Nguyen bought a lucky Holiday Gold ticket from the convenience store. After scratching off her ticket, she discovered that she won the big prize of $150,000.
Nguyen quickly traveled to lottery headquarters to claim her cash. After showing the winning ticket and signing some paper work, Nguyen took home a grand total of $107,251 after taxes. A Charlotte man won $1 million from the North Tryon Walmart earlier this month.
