On April 28, 2023 Samantha Miller, 34, was killed on her wedding day after an alleged drunk driver smashed into her golf cart, her groom Aric was injured. The wedding and crash occurred in Folly Beach, South Carolina. The suspect is Jamie Lee Komoroski.
Samantha was from Charlotte, NC. Samantha and Aric had their wedding on April 28, 2023 on the beach. The new bride and groom boarded a golf cart to head to their reception.
At 10 p.m. Jamie was driving a vehicle allegedly at 65 mph. Police say Jamie rear ended the golf cart at 65 mph, injuring Aric and 3 other people, Samantha was killed on the scene.
The golf cart was thrown over 100 yards and rolled several times.
Aric and the other victims are now in critical condition. Jamie was arrested and charged with DUI causing serious bodily injury/death, and reckless homicide.
