Alex Rodriguez, 17, was killed in a car crash on I-85 in Charlotte, NC. 22-year-old Julia Henderson was arrested on August 15, 2026 charged with murder.
The fatal accident was on July 25, 2026 on I-85. Alex was driving a vehicle. Julia was allegedly racing in an Audi with a Mercedes Benz car. Julia is accused of speeding at 132 mph.
Julia’s Audi crashed into the car Alex was in. Alex died on scene. The driver of the Mercedes Benz was not arrested.
Julia was hurt and sent to the hospital. After weeks of being in the ICU, Julia was released from the hospital and then arrested charged with murder.
