Brian Knuckles, 52, was arrested on March 22, 2025 accused of raping a female in Charlotte, NC. Brian was a two time Charlotte Observer high school player of the year in Mecklenburg County, he led the West Charlotte Lions to the 1991 state championship game under Head Coach Tom Knotts and set school rushing records that have not been broken till this day.

Brian is accused of approaching his ex girlfriend Nancy Tolley on March 21, 2025 on Cardigan Ave. Charlotte, NC. The suspect is accused of forcefully grabbing the woman and taking her to the backyard shed.

He is accused of hitting her in the face. Court records say Brian verbally demanded sexual relations from Nancy that included giving him oral stimulation with her mouth and getting naked.

Nancy says she refused, the suspect is accused of forcefully having sex with the victim in the shed. Brain allegedly made Nancy lay down on the shed floor with him for hours after the alleged sexual encounter.

Brian left the shed to do work. Nancy then ran and called 911. Nancy was transported to Atrium Main Hospital for medical evaluation and seen by a SANE nurse to obtain a SANE kit to be turned into property control as evidence. Nancy had visible signs of injury to her face.

A day later on March 22nd Brain was arrested charged with felonious restraint, second degree forcible rape, assault on a female, misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, and communicating threats.
Brian ended his high school career with over 5,000 yards and 75 touchdowns. As a senior Brian had 2,130 yards and 29 touchdowns.
