23-year-old Isaiah Hazel, Khyree Jackson, 24, and Anthony Lytton, 24, died in a vehicular crash on July 6, 2024 in Maryland. Khyree played in the NFL as a 2024 draft pick.

The football players were in a Dodge Charger when they were hit by an Infiniti Q50 vehicle that was speeding while changing lanes. The collision was around 3 a.m.
The fatal crash forced the Dodge Charger off the road, the Dodge Charger then struck multiple tree stumps. Isaiah, Khyree, and Anthony died at the scene. The driver of the Infiniti was injured and taken to the hospital, but did survive.

Isaiah, Khyree, and Anthony were all on the same high school football team identified as Dr. Henry A. Wise High School in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, where they won a state football championship.
Khyree played two seasons with Alabama under Head Coach Nick Saban, he then transferred to Oregon. In 2024 Khyree was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the fourth round of the NFL Draft. Khyree was a corner back.
The Minnesota Vikings released the following statement:
“We are devastated by the news of Khyree Jackson’s death following an overnight car accident. Our thoughts are with Khyree’s family, friends, teammates and coaches, as well as all the victims of this tragic accident.”
Isaiah played at the University of Maryland for 4 years and then transferred to UNC Charlotte where he played defensive back.
UNC Charlotte will honor Isaiah by wearing helmet stickers showing his jersey number 13 during the upcoming season.
Anthony played at Florida State and then transferred to Penn State.
