Daton was stopped by police at the University of Central Florida while he was driving a red vehicle. A license plate reader alerted to Daton driving a stolen vehicle. Daton talks with cops and says he doesn’t have insurance and that he was on the University of Central Florida’s campus to see a female.
According to court records, when the officers learned Daton had an active arrest warrant for trespassing, they tried to arrest him, but Daton ran away.
Daton ran on foot through wet grass and around buildings.
The suspect within seconds ran back to his car and drove off while officers were trying to catch him. Daton was able to getaway.
But a few weeks later Daton was accused of shooting 2 cops during a standoff, a SWAT team in Orlando later killed Daton.Â
