Watch a shootout at In-N-Out Burger restaurant
31-year-old Andre Matijasevic was killed at a In-N-Out Burger restaurant in Laguna Hills, CA. Andre was in a shootout with the Newport Beach Police Department on Sept 20, 2025.
Andre was a murder suspect in the homicide of a female victim identified as April Moore, 50. The victim was carjacked and killed earlier. Andre took the woman’s vehicle and was driving it around the city.
A license plate reader detected the stolen vehicle at 1 a.m. Newport Beach officers located it and tried to pull Andre over.
Andre sped off and officers pursued. The suspect makes a sharp turn in front of the In-N-Out Burger and gets out of the car shooting at cops and running.
Cops shoot back, as Andre runs into the parking lot of the In-N-Out Burger where he was then shot and killed. Several patrol vehicles were struck by gunfire, it is not known if any cops were shot.
