Newly released footage shows a man evading from police in Toledo, Ohio. Arie Hall-Jones, 22, was allegedly driving a Chrysler 300 in a high speed chase on January 30, 2024.
Police attempted to pull Arie over in the rain due to possible gun arrest warrants. Arie stopped momentarily, but then took off down the street within seconds.
The suspect was able to evade cops and get out of sight from the original police unit. But radio communications allowed another cop to see the suspect nearby, and pursue him.
The suspect eventually stopped at a dead-end and ran away on foot armed with a gun. Cops gave chase, and even shot at Arie after he turned around to look at cops as he ran away.
Arie was not hit by police gunfire. Arie was arrested and charged with failure to comply, having weapons under disability, improperly handling firearms in motor vehicle, and resisting arrest brandishing a deadly weapon.
