Ndiaga Diagne shot 14 people and killed 3 people at Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden on March 1, 2026 during a mass shooting in Austin, Texas. Ndiaga had on a shirt with an Iranian flag on it, he was angry that the USA military attacked Iran under orders of Donald Trump. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
At 2 a.m. Ndiaga drove to Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden and shot several people with an AR-15 gun while in his SUV. Ndiaga then got out of his SUV and began shooting more club patrons.
3 people were killed. Police were already in the area and responded to the scene in 60 seconds. Police spotted Ndiaga and shot him dead.
Ndiaga is a naturalized U.S. citizen and he was born in Senegal. The other shot victims were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
