The crash was at 5 a.m. when multiple cars crashed into each other traveling at high speeds. 2 people were killed on impact in the crash. 2 other people were injured and taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The interstate was closed for hours due to the fatal collision. Extensive traffic backups were presented in the area and vehicles were diverted to back roads.
