Escaped inmates

Around 10 p.m. the inmates pried a secure door open with a piece of metal and walked through a plumbing area to make their way on to the roof of the jail.

Construction was going on at the jail so a ladder was already at the roof. The inmates climbed down the ladder and then ran two miles to a nearby business in the gated parking lot.

Watch below video of a prison escape near Atlanta, GA.

The inmates are seen entering the business parking lot and stealing a employee’s vehicle with temporary Missouri tags. The inmates drove to the gate exit and the 3 other inmates got inside the car.

The vehicle then drove off into the night.

One inmate Michael Wilkins was taken back into jail custody on January 20, 2023 after someone saw him at a bar and called cops.
