In the morning hours of March 22, 2023 a 16-year-old suspect was arrested, charged with the murder of Michael Brown, 21, and Jareese Florybert, 16. The victims were shot and killed during a double homicide in Charlotte, NC.
The victims were shot in the parking lot of the shopping center around 9:30 p.m. during an altercation between several people. Michael and Jareese died on the scene.
The 16-year-old juvenile suspect is now charged with 2 counts of murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle.
