Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is recovering after he was attacked by 3 men at an LA Fitness gym in Lake Worth, FL on March 21, 2023. The fight took place in the gym’s bathroom. The rapper’s real name is Daniel Hernandez. The attack caused Tekashi to have bruises and injuries to his face.
Tekashi 6ix9ine was at the gym working out alone. The rapper usually has a security detail with him. When Tekashi went into the bathroom, 3 men followed him and launched an attack.
The 3 men punch the rapper and throw him on the ground. The suspects then repeatedly kick and punch him.
One of the suspects can be heard saying to Tekashi, “You bitch ass. Mickey mouse, clown ass.”
One of the men grab Tekashi by his long colorful braided hair and says, “take a picture, I want to be famous.”
The men then leave the gym. Tekashi rises to his feet with a bloody face. Tekashi had gashes and swelling to his face. He also suffered injuries to his jaw, ribs, and back.
In 2019 Tekashi testified at a criminal trial that sent several gang members to prison in a racketeering gang case. Tekashi avoided a long prison sentence in the criminal trial in a deal with prosecutors to testify against the gang members.
Gangs around the United States have sought to harm Tekashi after his court testimony.
