Zyvarius Webber, 18, was arrested on September 16, 2026 charged with leading police in a high speed chase that started in Charlotte, NC over a stolen truck. The chase ended in Spartanburg, SC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Zyvarius is accused of stealing a truck at gunpoint in Charlotte near the intersection of North Graham St and Atando Ave.
The stolen vehicle was reported to 911. Cops spotted the stolen truck while Zyvarius was driving it. Police tried to conduct a traffic stop on Zyvarius, but he refused to stop. West Charlotte has been a bad area for years, there are murders and or high profile crimes there every day.
The chase went onto I-85 at high speeds. The chase then went all the way into South Carolina. The dangerous high speed chase came to an end in Spartanburg, SC after the teenager ran out of gas.
