TEENAGER ARRESTED AFTER TEEN MODEL MURDERED IN WEST CHARLOTTE SHOOTING

Melakah had good looks and had just signed to a modeling agency

A 16-year-old suspect has been arrested in the Charlotte, NC murder of Melakah Corbette, 17. The suspect was arrested on March 9, 2024. 

Melakah Corbette

Melekah was shot and killed on February 1, 2024. The shooting was on Pitts Drive at 1 a.m. The suspect shot Melekah and fled. Melekah died on the scene. 

Melekah was a high school student and was just signed to a modeling agency in New York.

After investigation the suspect was identified and arrested on March 9th.
