Roderick Gresham, 66, was arrested on July 11, 2026 accused of killing Angelina Chicas, 17, in a rear end car accident. The crash was on June 6, 2026 on North Sharon Amity Rd Charlotte, NC.
Angelina had just started a job at Manolo’s Bakery. Chicas was in a Honda attempting to turn onto N. Sharon Amity Road when she was struck by a Chrysler 300 car from the back. Roderick was driving the Chrysler 300 at 90 mph, prosecutors say.
Roderick was injured and rushed to the hospital. Chicas died. Roderick was in the hospital for over a month recuperating from the crash. On July 11th he was released form the hospital an then arrested charged with manslaughter.
Roderick is now in a wheel chair from the wreck.
