Guns were stolen in a smash and grab robbery and then sold on the street

Reginald Moses, 21, was sentenced to prison on August 12, 2025 for stealing multiple firearms from licensed firearms dealer Carolina Sporting Arms Company, Inc. in Charlotte, NC.

Reginald crashed a stolen vehicle into Carolina Sporting Arms Company, Inc., located at 8055 South Boulevard on February 20, 2024.

Reginald and an accomplice stole 20 guns and sold them on the street. Around 2 months later Reginald was arrested for the crime.

In August 2025 Reginald pleaded guilty to theft of a firearm from a licensed dealer and aiding and abetting the same.

He was ordered to serve 27 months in prison followed by two years under court supervision. The other suspect was not caught.
