Marcus Shankle, 33, and Jonuss Jenkins, 18, are accused of murdering Lemuel Carr, 26, in Charlotte, NC. Marcus was arrested on April 19, 2023 and Jonuss was arrested on April 24, 2023.
Lemuel was murdered on April 17, 2023 on Lakewood Ave. in Charlotte.
Around 10 p.m. Lemuel was shot multiple times. Paramedics responded to the scene. Lemuel died on site.
While police, news crews, and emergency officials were on scene, several shots were fired on a neighboring street.
On April 19, 2023, the police Violent Criminal Apprehension Team along with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division located and arrested Marcus, he is charged with murder and attempted murder.
On April 24th Jonuss was arrested in South Carolina and charged with murder and attempted murder.
