SUSPECT ARRESTED, CHARGED WITH MURDERING YOUNG FATHER IN CHARLOTTE

On Sunday, September 1, 2024 Christian Sosa, 28, was arrested accused of murdering Jovanni Fuentes, 31. The victim was shot and killed in Charlotte, NC.

Jovanni was murdered in a wild shooting on May 12, 2024 at 5:00 a.m. on Kilborne Drive. Jovanni leaves behind kids and a family.

Jovanni was shot on the street. Officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon 911 call. 

Upon arrival officers discovered Jovanni with multiple gunshot wounds. Jovanni was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

After several months Christian was identified as a suspect and arrested on September 1st charged with Jovanni’s murder.
