ROACH FOUND IN RICE AT MASTI INDIAN RESTAURANT AND BAR, RESTAURANT TO BE SUSPENDED

The Masti Indian Restaurant & Bar scored a dismal 86 B on a health and safety food inspection on November 14, 2024. The restaurant is located at 128 Brevard Court Charlotte, NC. Video shows flying roaches at a Waffle House in Charlotte.

A cockroach was seen inside a container of rice. The inspector had the rice thrown away. The inspector was disgusted and placed The Masti Indian Restaurant & Bar on a 30 day intent to suspend. The 9 Spices Indian Cuisine restaurant had multiple food borne illness risk factors.

But that is not all, there were also multiple cockroaches of various sizes and small gnats in the restaurant basement. 

The inspector observed multiple deceased pests in the restaurant. The hand washing sink was without hand towels. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram. 

The manager was unaware of the employee health policy. The gaskets on the prep unit was in need of cleaning. There was also a non functional ice machine. Video shows bugs in a child’s food at an American Deli restaurant in Charlotte.

Two employee cell phones were stored on top of dry good items in the storage area of the basement.
