22-year-old Cody McLaggan was murdered on February 18, 2022 in Raleigh, NC. James Anderson, 19, is charged with Cody’s murder. Cody had graduated from N.C. State University in December 2021, he was a business major.
The deadly shooting was at 7:35 p.m. at a Food Lion grocery store on Western Blvd. which is near North Carolina State University. 6 gunshots were fired.
When police arrived, Cody was found suffering from gunshot wounds. Cody was rushed to the hospital, where he died.
The very next day on February 19th police arrested James and charged him with the murder of Cody.
Anderson is being held at the Wake County Detention Center.
