Wesley Harrison James, 30, died on September 20, 2024. He is the son of North Carolina Pastor George Pass. Wesley died in an 18-wheeler truck crash in Drewryville, VA.

At 9:26 a.m. Wesley was involved in a collision with another 18-wheeler truck. The crash killed Wesley on impact. The other truck driver was rushed to the hospital, but survived.
The Virginia Department of Transportation and Virginia Department of Emergency Management were called to the scene.
Wesley is a former student of Norfolk State University. After college Wesley got his CDL truck license and began a career in driving 18-wheeler trucks.
Wesley was involved in the church, as his father George Pass is a pastor at a church in High Point, NC.
