On August 1, 2024 Antonio Velazquez, 53, was arrested in Charlotte, NC accused of reckless driving and speeding in a 3-wheeler vehicle on University City Blvd. Antonio owns Unique Window Tint and Body Shop on North Tryon Street.
The arrest stems from Antonio allegedly driving a 3-wheeler vehicle at 69 mph in a 45 mph zone near the intersection of I-85 and University City Blvd in the afternoon. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Cops say Antonio was driving reckless and was a danger to other motorists.
Police pulled over Antonio. The suspect is accused of refusing to provide identification, insurance, and vehicle documents.
According to authorities, Antonio was also found in possession of a concealed firearm. Antonio was arrested charged with resisting an officer, reckless driving, and carrying a concealed gun.
Antonio runs the auto body shop with his sons. In 2018 Antonio and his wife Melissa Velazquez divorced.
