On August 28, 2021 a homicide occurred on I-85 south near Statesville Ave. in Charlotte, NC.
Several shots were fired at a vehicle on South Interstate 85. An adult victim was found in the vehicle suffering from gunshots. Emergency aid was rendered, but the driver was pronounced deceased on scene.
Brandon Hedrick was killed in the toll lanes of Interstate 77 in August 2021.
