On July 22, 2022 the decision was made by the district attorney’s office not to press charges on the individual that killed Jonathan Edouarzin, 31. Jonathan was shot and killed on June 29, 2022 at apartments on Westbury Lake Drive Charlotte, NC.
Detectives have classified this case as a justified homicide. The Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office has consulted with the police Homicide Unit and agreed not to charge anyone in this case.
At 1:30 a.m. Jonathan was shot at an apartment, Jonathan was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The shooter in this case remained on scene.
