Phylicia died on Easter morning unexpectedly from a medical emergency. She was a strong financial supporter of the Veterans Social Center Recreation Facility and Military Museum.
Her husband Demarquil Barr is devastated by the loss. On a social media post, Phylicia said, “I am so glad I am married to my best friend.”
Phylicia attended Carver High and went on to attend North Carolina State University.
