Community leader Atrayus O. Goode died suddenly, he mentored many kids
Atrayus O. Goode died on April 17, 2025 in the Durham, NC area. He was a community leader and owner of the Youth Mentoring Collaborative, a non profit group that mentored kids. Atrayus leaves behind a young daughter. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram. Atrayus also attended Duke Divinity School.
Atrayus was found dead in his residence. The exact cause of death is not known at this time, but there are unconfirmed reports of suicide. Atrayus was a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
No foul play is suspected in the death of Atrayus. Many people have expressed sorrow and grief over the sudden death of Atrayus.
An autopsy will be conducted to find the cause of death. Atrayus even ran for Durham School Board of Education. He graduated from The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
