Elizabeth was a student at UNC Chapel Hill. On March 9, 2023 she went to a party at a student’s dorm room on the campus of Duke University.
At the party Elizabeth took cocaine that was laced with fentanyl. Elizabeth began convulsing and was unable to breathe.
Police were called along with paramedics to Duke’s campus. Resuscitation efforts were made on Elizabeth and she was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.
Elizabeth was treated at the hospital in the intensive care unit, but 2 days later on March 11th she died.
Elizabeth’s autopsy revealed her death was caused by cocaine and ethanol toxicity, she had fentanyl in her system too.
